The @barcia/astro-youtube package simplifies embedding YouTube videos inside an Astro project, with several performance improvements under the hood.
The component provides a lightweight, customizable YouTube player that improves loading performance by delaying the loading of the actual YouTube iframe until the user interacts with it, along with several other options for customization.
Let your Bluesky posts flutter into Astro
Content loader for Bluesky posts 🦋
Astro core maintainer, Matt Kane, has published a new content loader for Bluesky.
The content loader retrieves all of your Bluesky posts at build time, adding them to a content collection that can be used to generate pages and display the content. Matt has also announced plans to create a component for embedding posts directly.
