Astro Studio launch date 🚀

It’s the news we’ve all been waiting for; Astro Studio has an official launch date.

Ever since it was first announced, the Astro team has been coy about the finer details of its first hosted service, but we’re promised “something entirely new for the web ecosystem.” Thankfully, we don’t have to wait too much longer to find out.

Astro Studio launches March 12, 2024 💫

Astro, but faster

Astro 4.4 released ⚡️

Astro Studio may only be weeks away, but the work elsewhere doesn’t stop as Astro 4.4 is now available.

This update introduces improvements to performance audits inside the Dev Toolbar, faster build times and runtime performance, and something I’m personally excited about, automatically infer dimensions of remote images.

For an in-depth look at each of these new features, check out the official Astro blog for all the details.
